In 2003, a group of parents decided to partner together in discipling their children by educating them classically. Starting with just 56 students, they formed K-8 classes while renting from a nearby church. In 2008, we were blessed with our current facility of 16 classrooms surrounded by a courtyard on nine acres of land. The gift of a school building has allowed us to pour all of our resources and tuition into faculty and students. In 2012, we launched our high school and graduated our first class in 2016.
Our families are organized into four houses (Washington, Madison, Hamilton, and Henry) that provide mentorship structure across age levels. Additionally, our students actively participate in maintaining the courtyard gardens providing a constant reminder that we are made to cultivate truth, goodness, and beauty. House spirit provides a place of belonging for each family and house leadership gives each student a role to play as they serve and celebrate together. School events and community meals throughout the school year provide opportunities to create memories, share stories, and grow closer as a community.
Covenant Academy exists to serve Christ and His Kingdom by sharing the gospel and partnering with parents to train students by way of Scripture and the classical liberal arts:
• to be discerning, articulate followers of Jesus Christ;
• to be leaders who are equipped to honor and defend truth, goodness and beauty.
